These films will be irresistible; taking place in exotic and extraordinary places that will challenge and entertain contemporary Australian and International cinema audiences. From 2010, five by five will start to produce projects delivered across a variety of programmes and platforms that will be available to audiences whenever and however they want. five by five will be a savvy combination of creativity, cutting edge technology and quality that will reinvent the expectations of audiences everywhere.

FUEL is an innovative Visual Effects Studio based in Sydney, Australia.

The company owners set out with the vision to inspire and engage both clientsand artists, building a studio from the ground up to do so. The executive team behind FUEL is made up both Producers and Creatives they are; Jason Bath, Paul Butterworth, Andrew Hellen, Simon Madison and Dave Morley.

FUEL has grown from the initial five founders to having a full-time staff of 50. This can expand out to about 80 people in busy periods with the addition of trusted freelancers. Our full-time staff is ‘senior heavy’ and has many years of experience in different disciplines, ranging across matte painting,
digital environments, character animation, compositing, design and effects simulations.

At Fuel we like to think of ourselves as “visual problem solvers” – the more tricky the problem the better we like it. Innovative thinking and a flexible attitude are applied to all our projects. In the last year alone Fuel has delivered effects work on such diverse films as Bedtime Stories, Australia, The Spirit, Wolverine, and You Don’t Mess With The Zohan.
